Code Aster Installation

Code Aster is a free and open source Finite Element Analysis solver. The purpose of this section is to test it for solving some plate and shell benchmark problems. No windows version of Code Aster is distributed by the developers, so the installation will be performed inside a virtual machine on a Windows Host system with Linux as a guest. The installation files can be dowloaded from the developer's web page:

The program that I use as a virtual machine is VMware Player.
